The first series of the BBC's Celebrity Traitors has launched.

The new series follows the premise of the civilian version, The Traitors, seeing faithfuls attempting to root out a small group of Traitors to secure for themselves the cash prize.

But the main difference of Celebrity Traitors will see the stars play for their chosen charities.

With the new series airing, viewers of the BBC show have been asking where the show is filmed.

Where is Celebrity Traitors filmed?

The BBC programme is filmed at Ardross Castle in Scotland and is located just north of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, reports The Mirror .

The 19th-century castle is surrounded by more than 100 acres of land, which was often seen during the challenges from the 2022 series.

Fans may have noticed it is also the home for the US version of The Traitors.

The American edition, which is hosted by actor Alan Cumming launched in 2023 on the streaming platform Peacock.

Where do the Celebrity Traitors sleep?

Those taking part in Celebrity Traitors do not sleep at Ardross Castle.

Instead, they are transported in separate vehicles at night and are taken to different accommodations.

Both the Traitors and Faithfuls leave the castle when the roundtable has come to an end and the clock chimes.

The exact location of where the cast sleep is not currently known but we do know they are not allowed to communicate with each other or anyone outside of the programme.

What is the prize for Celebrity Traitors on the BBC?

The contestants for the celeb version of the show will be able to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charities.
