This stunning three-bedroom penthouse is situated in The Factory in Kerrison Road. The landmark building, which was formerly home to Laurence Scott and Electromotors Ltd, was converted into 24 loft-style apartments in 2006.

Spanning across two floors, the accommodation is spacious and flooded with light and space - and the large open plan living room has an incredible panoramic view of the city skyline, including Norwich Cathedral.. The penthouse has been owned by Nicole Pugh for more than a decade and during that time the property has been beautifully re-designed with improvements including parquet-style flooring throughout.

Nicole has created a sociable, open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen is by Wren and the integrated white goods include two Smeg ovens.

'I’m very much a family person and love to have everyone in the room,' says Nicole.
'The kitchen was expanded and brought forward to lend itself to more of a centralised island, working its way into the lounge, an induction hob, and dimmable birdcage chandeliers to add opulence. The style is very much minimalist with neutral light colours, the accents of natural wood and textured throws and marble combines nature with simplicity. I very much love the addition of olive branches and willow branches, currently to add movement, texture and deep tones into the space.'

The bathroom has a newly-installed three-piece bathroom suite with a shower over the bath. There's a marble effect floor and the fittings are from Victoria Plumbing.
'I wanted to create that minimalist, opulent, hotel, vibe, adding brass accents, and a large mirror to amplify the space and light,'  says Nicole.

Her favourite room in the apartment is the master bedroom. 'Because of its maximalist aesthetic,' she says. 'The full wall of gold leaf was created by Daniel Bland of Bland Design, who has been on Interior Design Masters. We had a talk about wanting to create something tropical but soft and we came up with a white kentia palm design.'

The secluded roof terrace, which has a bar area, is the perfect place in which to to relax on a summer's evening.

'I wanted to create an Ibiza vibe here with very minimalist and light, pastel, colours and tones with solid stone and fluid lines,' says Nicole. 'It feels like an additional room in the summertime.'

The apartment is on the market with a guide price of £499,950 with Ben Allman Estate and Letting Agent. For more information visit baela.co.uk
