A wildlife park near Ipswich has officially opened a new area where people can overlook one of its newest animals.
Jimmy's Farm and Wildlife Park in Wherstead, near Ipswich, has opened its new Lion Lake, with a viewpoint overlooking the park's Asiatic lions.
It also features The Lion's Den, a new bar which sells smoky BBQ food and drinks, including some bespoke Jimmy's Farm drinks.
A video of the opening, featuring Jimmy Doherty, which went on the park's social media sites, has generated thousands of views, with 144,000 people seeing the opening on Facebook.
In October last year, the farm welcomed two Asiatic lions, Kamal and Rani and an Amur tiger, Kalinka to the ever-growing park.
Plans were also submitted for luxury tent accommodation beside the new lion enclosure in December.
The proposal includes 10 safari-style tents for short holiday stays, allowing visitors to stay close to the animals.
These plans will be decided in July.
