Our readers find inspiration for their photos in Bronte Country

The Bronte sisters spent most of their lives in Haworth, and the inpsiration for their books can be found all around the West Yorkshire village and in nearby Top Withens.

The two main attractions are the Bronte Parsonage and the famous Bronte walk which takes in the countryside that inspired the works of the sisters.

The nostalgic feel to the village is celebrated every May with the 1940s weekend. Locals and visitors dress up in clothing that was typical of that era and take part in a series of events that have included an RAF vintage plane flyover and Lindy Hop dancing.
