The Adoption Mission throws Crufts celebration for dogs and pups looking for their forever homes

In a lively display of camaraderie, furry residents at Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home are rallying behind their fellow rescue dogs who are set to shine at this year’s Crufts. To cheer on and show their support for their fellow furry friends, the team have set-up and hosted a charming mini-Crufts-style show of their very own.

Inspired by the remarkable journeys of rescue dogs, BeauBuddy and Indie, who are set to take centre stage at Crufts this week, The Adoption Mission programme from Mars Petcare partnered with Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home to host the ultimate Crufts celebration. Their shared mission is to inspire more people to consider adoption and help the dogs still in their care find new loving homes.

The rescue pooches at Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home definitely stole the spotlight as they manoeuvred through agility courses, took part in their own awards ceremony, and enjoyed lots of tasty treats – to fuel their spirited participation.

I hope this helps to challenge common misconceptions and showcase just how amazing rescue dogs are. With this incredible display we want to encourage more people to adopt and discover firsthand the extraordinary abilities and joy these deserving canines bring to our lives.

‘We’re so grateful to The Adoption Mission programme and for their continued support in helping us to nurture and look after the pets currently in our care. They cannot wait to find their forever homes and we look forward to hopefully matching them with their perfect families soon.’

Trevor was thankfully adopted and competed on the Rally Obedience Interregional team representing Wales at Crufts.
