The Chatsworth International Horse Trials are firmly established as one of the leading events in the equestrian calendar and once again the world’s leading riders are expected to compete.

But as well as dressage, show jumping and cross country there are many other arena attractions at the three-day event this year. On the Friday see the ‘stars’ of the future in the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse qualifiers and on the Saturday and Sunday enjoy all the favourites including: Pony Club mounted games, ferret racing, gundog displays, Dressage demonstrations and birds of prey displays. There will also be plenty to keep the children entertained – Punch & Judy, Maypole dancing, face painting and children’s rides.

There are over 100 quality trade stands and two Craft marquees selling a wide selection of country clothing, equestrian products, fashion accessories, delicious food and much more. The event, takes place on May 10th, 11th and 12th aims to combine fantastic equestrian sport with entertainment for all the family in the beautiful surroundings of Chatsworth Park on the banks of the River Derwent.

‘We are delighted to welcome Dodson & Horrell as the title sponsor of the Chatsworth International Horse Trials in 2013,’ said the Duchess of Devonshire.
