Our photography competition puts talented Cheshire Life readers in the frame

We always knew Cheshire Life readers were a talented lot and the entries we’ve had to our super photographic competition so far prove it. Pictures have been uploaded to our website from every corner of our glorious county – from the hills to the coast and from the bustling town centres to the tranquil villages.

The pictures on these pages are just some to have been submitted in recent weeks and it’s not too late to add your best photographs to the growing gallery of scenes from all over the county – they could win you terrific prizes.

The competition is sponsored by Wilkinson’s Cameras and they have selected three superb pieces of equipment as prizes. The judging panel will led by Cheshire Life picture editor John Cocks, photographer Kirsty Thompson and deputy editor Paul Mackenzie, and the winners will receive a New Canon EOS 600D and EF-S 18-55 IS lens worth 750, a Canon Powershot S95 worth 300, and a new Canon Powershot SX220 HS worth 250.
