Cheshire Life Reader Photos Competition 2011 - June
One of our fantastic photographic competitions closes this month but there are more chances to win great prizes
Could you be the sharp shooter who takes the honours in one of our super photographic competitions? We have two great opportunities for amateur photographers to win great prizes - but hurry, one competition closes this month.
The closing date for entries to our nationwide photographic competition is June 18th and we want to find the best picture of the British countryside. To be in with a chance of winning a place at a garden party at St James’s Palace in London, hosted by Prince Charles, upload your best shot to greatbritishlife.co.uk.
You’ve got a little longer to enter the Cheshire Life competition - entries for that must be in by October 7th. We’re looking for the county’s best amateur photographer and we want you to send in your favourite shots taken in Cheshire.
The pictures on these pages are among the early entries. They show some of the county’s most famous landmarks - the gardens at Cholmondeley Castle, the River Dee - and a snapshot of our stunning flora and fauna.
Our super Cheshire Life competition is sponsored by Wilkinson’s Cameras and they have selected three superb pieces of equipment as prizes. The judging panel will led by Cheshire Life picture editor John Cocks, photographer Kirsty Thompson and deputy editor Paul Mackenzie, and the winners will receive a New Canon EOS 600D and EF-S 18-55 IS lens worth 750, a Canon Powershot S95 worth 300, and a new Canon Powershot SX220 HS worth 250.
