Send in your entry for the Cheshire Life photography competition in association with Wilkinson Cameras
Few counties can match Cheshire for the variety of views on offer, and that makes the county an ideal place for photographers. And with cameras on tablets and mobile phones, it’s easier than ever for us all to take great pictures.
On these pages are just some of the many photos taken by readers in recent weeks and entered in our annual competition.
You have until Friday September 19th to get your entry in and our judges will be choosing a top three who will win prizes from sponsors Wilkinson’s Cameras.
The first prize winner will receive a Canon EOS 100D and EF-S 18-55 IS STM worth £479.99, second prize is a Canon Powershot S120 worth £399.99 and if your picture comes in third place you’ll win a Canon Powershot SX 510 worth £219.99 (all prices correct as of March 2014).
There are just two rules: the competition is not open to professional photographers and pictures must be taken in Cheshire, North Wales or central Manchester.
Cheshire Life editor Louise Taylor said: ‘The competition has only been open a couple of months and we have already seen many superb pictures. Choosing a top three would be difficult even at this stage, but it proves once again that our readers are enormously talented and have a real appreciation of our county.’
