Cloudspotting Music and Arts Festival
Retreat to Gisburn Forest for a fabulous weekend of music and art. The family friendly festival is now in its seventh year. This year, headliners include Congolese poet, composer-lyricist, scriptwriter and performer BALOJI and cosmic concept band Henge. They will perform alongside emerging and established alternative music, touring family theatre, interactive arts and music workshops, plus fine food and a beer tent.

The Pendle Piano Trio
Gaynor Sutcliffe, Paul Greenhalgh and Robert Buller, highly successful musicians in their own right, have combined their skills to perform an imaginative programme of popular light classics. The afternoon of quality music will be followed by afternoon tea. All proceeds go to St Andrew’s Church.

Ribble Valley Open Art Exhibition
The theme for this year’s Ribble Valley Open Exhibition is ‘time’. The exhibition, which is held in the Steward’s Gallery, will showcase both amateur and professional artists from across the Ribble Valley and adjoining boroughs. Visitors can take part in the people’s choice competition, where you can choose your favourite piece for the chance to win a Lancashire Museums Family and Friends Xplorer ticket.

Clitheroe Food Festival
An annual showcase of food and drink producers from the Ribble Valley and beyond, this festival is not one to miss. Taking over the town centre, enjoy a street food smorgasbord that has something to suit all tastes. There will also be entertainment, demonstrations from local chefs and activities for all the family.

Great Expectations
Stonyhurst College will be host to Chapterhouse Theatre Company, performing an outdoor production of Charles Dickens’ classic, Great Expectation, in the grounds of the historic college. There is also the opportunity to pre-book an historic tour of the college and afternoon tea prior to the performance.
