Local businesses from across West Lancashire joined forces at West Tower in Aughton to raise awareness and funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
Over 100 guests enjoyed fizz on arrival, followed by a three course regional menu freshly prepared by the kitchen brigade. Entertainment was provided by DJ Steve Mitchell, Milly Bolton and magician Zanda Magic. Over £5,000 was raised on the evening for the charity which gives a lifetime of support to soldiers and veterans from the British Army and their immediate families.
Owner of West Tower, Paul Bolton, said: ‘The ABF vision that all soldiers, veterans and their immediate families should have the opportunity to avoid hardship and enjoy independence and dignity, is without doubt a vision that I’m sure we all share.’
