A Cuban Ball was held at Gibbon Bridge Hotel, Chipping, to raise funds for Unite and Bike Against Cancer.
The event was organised by fundraisers Jacky Godfrey, Michelle Mellor, Andrea Pinder, Christine Humberstone and Philippa McDowell, who are taking on the challenge of a 350km cycle ride around Cuba in aid of Rosemere Cancer Foundation. Guests were welcomed with a mojito cocktail and music from Cuban Cocktail. Daniel Hill, area fundraiser of the Rosemere Cancer Foundation, opened the event with a pre-dinner speech before guests enjoyed dinner and then a charity auction and raffle.
