A whole host of June events from all corners of Dorset
Event of the month
Bournemouth University’s Festival of Learning - 9 -15 June
More than 150 free events will take place at BU’s Talbot and Lansdowne campuses and across Dorset during this week long event. You don’t need any previous experience to take part, just an inquisitive mind and a willingness to get stuck in. You could meet your inner monkey, go on a kitchen safari or discover how to help your child sleep better. Last year over 4,000 local people joined in the interactive workshops, debates, hands-on taster sessions and presentations. Now in its second year, the festival is going to be even bigger and better than ever. As well as family-friendly activities like children’s animation workshops and interactive talks about sci-fi favourites Star Wars and Doctor Who, there are also opportunities for those looking to boost their business such as tweeting your way to the top, creating better wesbites and smarter project management.
