There were 125 members and guests in attendance to enjoy an evening of food, wine and dancing to celebrate its 125th anniversary of Formby Lawn Tennis Club. A marquee in the grounds of the club provided a touch of class to this black tie event at a venue where tennis has been played since 1888. The oldest club trophy was on display along with a backdrop of vintage photographs which were projected onto the canvas of the marquee.
Chairman Peter Collinson said: ‘What a fabulous evening to mark this auspicious occasion. We had members from all age groups attending which reflects the deep affection everyone has for this wonderfully friendly club.’
