A Great Gatsby ball took place at Morecambe’s Globe Arena where more than 150 guests were transported back into the 1920s.

During the evening, which included a three course meal, an envelope raffle, and auctions helped to raise more than £12,500 for St John’s Hospice, which provides palliative care in north Lancashire and the South Lakes.

Fundraising Manager, Jo Humphrey, said: ‘So many generous businesses donated their time and prizes so that we could raise the vital funds we need to continue caring for our community. Thanks to all those who made this night such a success.’
