A stylish ladies lunch was held at The Villa, Wrea Green, raising a splendid £5,000 for Heartbeat, the Preston based cardiac rehabilitation charity.

Guests at this years event enjoyed a fashion show from Samlesbury’s Love Jewellery and Fashion, and browsed a range of fabulous stalls.

Talks came from two inspirational guest speakers, Maura Jackson, director of BYPHS charity, who help young homeless people in Bolton, and Preston City Council’s chief executive, Lorraine Norris.

Alongside the annual hat competition, auction and raffle, the ladies were also joined by Lytham St Anne’s Art Society who exhibited their work.
