Lancashire’s Holcombe Hunt is one of the oldest in the country dating back to 1086.

Members and guests of the Holcombe Hunt donned their masks and gathered at Samlesbury Hall to celebrate Susan Simmons’ ten years as a master of the hunt and to welcome Paul Conway as a new master.

The evening followed a White Lady theme, which recognised the history of the hall, with specially created cocktails followed by a question and answer session with Nigel Coupe, the leading international show jumper.

The evening included the ‘White Lady Dash’ with entrants racing over obstacles hoping to win a prize of a week in Tenerife. The winner was none other than Nigel Coupe! Guests danced well into early hours with help from DJ Darrell Edwards who kept the party going.
