The annual Janine Thompson Charity Golf Day and Ball was held at Shaw Hill Golf and Spa Hotel at Whittle-le-Woods.
A field of 76 golfers competed for the Janine Thompson memorial cup and 220 guests enjoyed a delicious four course dinner in the evening.
Singer Stephen Bayliss provided the entertainment and two events raised £17,000 which will be donated to Boot Out Breast Cancer charity. The fund has now raised more than £44,000 in three years and organisers have already started work on next year’s event.
