There was no chance of rain stopping play as Leyland Cricket Club members staged their summer ball on a glorious summer’s evening at Farington Lodge.
There were around 90 guests who enjoyed an evening of good food and dancing until the early hours. The event raised almost £2,000 and this will go to purchasing new equipment for the club, including a roller for the pitches.
