More than 200 supporters attended the Richard J Wilson Sports Foundation’s 16th annual fundraising dinner at The Woodlands Suite, Ribby Hall.
They raised £7,606 bringing the total to over £100,000 to support to sportsmen and women and clubs in the Preston and Fylde areas.
Many local businesses provided their backing for the event, which was attended by the mayor of Fylde, Peter Hardy and his wife, Sheila, and deputy mayoress, Heather Speake. The organisers have already booked Ribby Hall on May 6 for next year’s dinner.
