A fundraiser for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Neuro-Rehabilitation Department was hosted by the Rigby family at the Bolton Whites Hotel.

The family has raised money since daughter Danielle was treated by the unit after suffering life-threatening injuries in a traffic accident.

Her mum Sarah Rigby stressed the importance of the unit and how the event would benefit children and their families. She expressed her gratitude to Dr Gary McCullagh, who was a huge supporter of the night.

Guests were in full party mode, enjoying entertainment from a variety of acts such as Saxophonist Rosemary Quay, comedian Justin Moorhouse and danced the night away to the band Groovy Revolution. The night proved to be a tremendous success, with the event raising £14,000.
