A drinks reception marked the opening of the Inn at South Stainley, formerly The Red Lion, after a six-month £1.5million refurbishment by new owners, the Seafood Pub Company.
The new bar, restaurant and function suite also has 12 bedrooms. Joycelyn Neve, managing director of the Lancashire-based Seafood Pub Company, said they had been looking at crossing over the border into Yorkshire for some time. ‘We are incredibly pleased to be able to take our award-winning food to Yorkshire and we’re looking forward to becoming part of the local community, to make sure we are delivering menus and service fitting of the area and its people,’ he added. The company also has the Fleece at Addingham, Ilkley.
