Mutter Slater was the frontman and flute player for the cult 70’s band Stackridge, produced by George Martin and signed by Elton John.

Once a regular on the Old Grey Whistle test, these days he resides in the West Dorset market town of Bridport. Two things strike you about Mutter when you meet him, firstly his down to earth, warm hearted good nature and secondly the fact that his passion for making music is as strong as ever. His latest album of original material, Absobloodylutely has a strong blues and soul feel and features some of the finest local musical talents. It’s available to download from iTunes and Amazon.
