Business figures from across the region followed in the footsteps of professionals Nick Faldo and Jack Nicklaus after The Prince’s Trust held its third golf day at the prestigious Formby Golf Club.
The event, supported by tee sponsors Flamco Limited, Cammell Laird, Better Bathrooms and Investec Wealth and Investment Limited was a huge success, raising a total of £10,000 to help disadvantaged young people get their lives back on track.
The 60 golfers enjoyed five hours of challenging play before winners were congratulated in a prize giving ceremony and dinner in the newly refurbished club house. The winning team was Elitetele.com and prizes were also awarded for the top four teams, nearest to the pin and the longest drive.
