Vale O’Lune Young Farmers 70th annual dinner dance

The Vale O’Lune Young Farmers held their 70th annual dinner dance at Morecambe FC’s Globe Arena.

The dance, which invited past and present members to celebrate, included a three course meal and talk from guest speaker, Countryfile presenter Tom Heaps. A raffle and auction raised £5,500 in memory of Elizabeth Mason, a former member of Vale O’Lune. The proceeds will go toward Crohn’s and Colitus UK, Breast Cancer Care and St. John’s Hospice.

Hannah Atkinson, chairman of the club, said: ‘It was a fantastic evening and just great to get everyone together. Everyone has a good evening, and although we were meant to leave at 1am, no-one left until at least 2am!’
