West Lancashire Scouts hosted His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent at the Harris Museum, Preston, for the 40th anniversary of their Scouting for All evening.

HRH has been the President of the Scout Association since 1975. The celebration was a huge success and over 150 people, including community leaders and local businesses, attended to see the presentations and enjoy the evening.

County President Gail Stanley said: ‘It was simply a wonderful occasion and setting to show what scouting can offer young people. We are delighted with the event and look forward to continuing to reach out in our communities.’
