Judges were looking for a restaurant in Cheshire which offered the best dining experience including food, décor and service.

The judges said this restaurant is wonderfully understated. This former shop in a Chester suburb is pleasantly decorated but not flashily, so its superb culinary offering is a bit of a surprise and a real delight. Chef/patron and the rest of the young team offer an innovative menu which includes twists and turns, but is never pretentious. There are so many great things about the food and the whole dining experience – it’s a winner in every sense.
