Essex Life magazine welcomed more than 50 guests to a winter warmer lunch at Graham’s @ The Nag’s Head in Moreton at the end of January. In the charming surroundings of this historic inn, guests were treated to mulled wine and soft drinks upon arrival before taking their seats for a sumptuous, traditional game pie.

In a new approach to the magazine’s lunches, guests were invited for a late lunch, from 3pm, allowing plenty of time for local business owners to meet and greet each other in the relaxed atmosphere, which even featured a roaring log fire.

The delicious main course of game pie was followed by a sensational Braeburn apple and cinnamon crumble courtesy of head chef Daniel Robertson and his highly-talented team.
