The organisers behind the New Forest marathon are appealing for corporate entrants to sign up and get fit together in the work place.
The event, which takes place on September 11 2016, was a huge success in 2015, with 81% of entrants being non-club runners. But now they are looking to grow it even more with the addition of an ‘SES Corporate Challenge’. The Challenge looks to attract teams of four people from workplaces across the country to enter any of the distances at this year’s event - full, half, 10k or 5k, with times from all members of the team contributing towards the result. The event that is famous for being “more than just a marathon” provides a great a day out for those coming to support with a music stage hosting bands throughout the day, local food and drink outlets, traders, camping and children’s activities to enjoy.
