An award winning family day out with new for 2018; Predator High Ropes! An exhilarating adventure featuring the world’s first parallel sky rails, including exciting elements across two different levels.
The 85 acre park hosts exciting and fascinating attractions including animatronic dinosaurs in natural surroundings, the Secret Animal Garden, Dippy’s Splash Zone for summer fun and Dinomite, Norfolk’s largest indoor play area!
At the top of the park, children can tackle the big open adventure play area including Arachnophobia, our giant spider’s web, Climb-a-Saurus, our 75ft dinosaur activity, and for the under-sevens, Tiny Terrosaurs play area. The North Norfolk Railway is a preserved railway and popular tourist attraction on the picturesque North Norfolk coast. The NNR runs regular steam and heritage diesel hauled train services between the seaside town of Sheringham and the Georgian town of Holt. Between these two terminus stations you will find the idyllic stations of Weybourne and Kelling Heath Halt which give access to a number of beautiful rural walks and the Kelling Heath Holiday Park.
A wide variety of special events, experience days, dining excursions and historic carriage days, along with the William Marriott Railway Museum, children’s play areas, the delightfully restored Railway Cottage and much more besides, all help to make a day out on the North Norfolk Railway a day to remember.

At home in the landscaped grounds of Thrigby Hall, near Great Yarmouth, is a special collection of rare animals from Asia.
You will find endangered tigers, huge crocodiles, noisy gibbons and many more exciting animals. A unique network of raised walkways allows you to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures. The park is wheelchair and pushchair friendly and benefits from free parking, picnic areas, café, gift shop and play areas to suit children of different age groups.
A snow leopard cub (Panthera uncia) born at Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens has made its public debut. The cub is now 8 weeks old and can be seen out and about in the enclosure exploring and playing with Mum. Consulting veterinary surgeon Eloise Quince from Anchorage Veterinary Hospital visited to vaccinate and carry out a health check, and the Park is pleased to announce that all is well and that they have a female cub. The cub is third offspring of mother Nima who is now six years old and Mohan who is five years old. The pair successfully raised two male cubs in 2015. These cubs have since moved onto other Zoos in Finland and Poland as part of the European Breeding Programme.
The Wildlife Gardens open every day at 10am.

Don’t miss the opportunity to make lots of new four-legged friends this summer at Redwings Horse Sanctuary!
The charity’s two Norfolk visitor centres – Redwings Aylsham, north of Norwich, and Redwings Caldecott, near Great Yarmouth – are hosting jam-packed schedules of activities for all ages, including fascinating tours and talks, pony grooming and special meet ‘n’ greets with some of their most characterful residents, including gentle giant Shire cross Fox and mischievous donkey duo Wiggins and Wacko. There’s also a free Summer Club offering budding horse carers of the future, aged six to 11, an exciting taster of what it’s like to work at Redwings!

Nestled in beautiful Weasenham woods, Extreeme Adventure is built in some of the tallest trees in the country. Longer, higher and more exciting, the famous high ropes at Weasenham with its 1000ft zip wire from 80ft now also houses an army-style assault course for those adrenaline junkies who prefer a challenge at ground level. The assault course can be a five kilometer run or simply some family fun doing lesser laps and has been designed to take two teams or two individuals at the same time as there are two adjacent sets of obstacles side by side around the course.
New in 2018, quad biking has been added to existing attractions. Forget endless circuits, or slow courses where no one gets out of second gear. This is biking at its best, with 250cc quads being used as they were intended - as all terrain vehicles.
Once some instruction is over, the trek is led at a pace to suit the riders, from beginners to nightly experienced, with some tracks through woods, farmland and a couple of steep old pits for the more adventurous. Each trek lasts an hour and a is tailored to the abilities of the riders with encouragement to push the adrenaline and enjoy the achievement!

There’s so much to see and do at Banham Zoo! New for 2018, Sea Lion Bay is a brand new large salt water pool, home to five California sea lions and the baby sea lion pup who was born at the zoo early June.
It’s a full day out with plenty of activities to thrill and entertain you and your family, including daily animal feeding talks, Amazing Animals! presentations and one of the most exciting Birds of Prey displays in the UK!
Check out the amazing subtropical house Eureka!, where free-flying birds and butterflies can be seen amongst the luscious planting – and make sure you spot the fascinating pair of two-toed sloths. See beautiful big cats such as Amur tigers, snow leopards, cheetahs and the beautiful but rare Sri Lankan leopards and their cubs. Spot a huge range of primates including lemurs, monkeys and siamangs as well as the feathered friends such as flamingos, owls, parrots and ibis. Penguin Cove also offers visitors the chance to see some of Africa’s coastal birds up close – including the colony of black-footed penguins.
Also enjoy the Free Safari Road train; indoor and outdoor play areas and fun and interactive sessions in the Activities & Education Centre. To round off the perfect day out, the zoo offers an excellent choice of eating facilities, a fantastic gift shop, free car parking, disabled facilities and much more.
