Tony Nottage, managing director of CreationStudio, puts the Lexus IS F through its paces and awards it a BAFTA

Tell us about yourself and what you doCreationStudio is a Pixar-style multi-media animation and web design agency based in Chelmsford, where we look after clients like Vodafone, Disney and Warner Brothers. Do you enjoy motoring?I own two fast cars, which I love driving, but I've got through my boy racer phase. Back then, I had a sickly green Opel Kadette but quickly changed that for a cool-looking Volkswagen Golf. I've also owned a Ford Sierra RS Cosworth and an Escort XR3i, which were fun. We also have a Chrysler Voyager at home, which my partner uses to ferry my daughters around.

What's the first thing you'd do if you were Minister of Transport?I would target smoky cars with some form of pollution policing control. I would end congestion in cities by forcing owners to park on the outskirts and instead use electric cars or public transport to get into town. The C5 was ahead of its time. What do you drive and what is your dream car?I'm a real petrol head and own a Mercedes-Benz CLK 55 AMG and a gorgeous Ferrari 360 Modena. It's hard to top the Modena, but I'd look to a Ferrari Enzo or Bugatti Veyron as my dream car.

How would a Lexus IS F suit your lifestyle? For comfort, the Lexus rivals my Mercedes CLK and these seats are very good. I was staggered by the size of the boot and pleasantly surprised by the headroom and generous legroom in the rear. I love its muscular looks with the power bulges and the extended wheel arches, the quad exhausts and the racy low-profile wheels and tyres. The cabin's well equipped with everything you need served up with smart, sporty aesthetics.

How does the Lexus IS F drive? The Lexus goes as well as it looks and the acceleration from its growly V8 engine really inspires. The ride is really good for such a firmly sprung car and you could drive all day and get out feeling refreshed.
