H is for Historic Dockyard. One of only three operating Royal Navy bases in the UK.

I is for Itchen Valley. Unspoilt countryside with plenty to do.

J is for Jane Austen. The writer’s home is open to the public.

K is for Kings Theatre. Over a century old and still a place to catch the best comedy, music and performances.

L is for Lepe. The country park here has barbecue areas and is great for wind and kite surfers.

M is for Mottisfont. Set in beautiful gardens near the River Test, this place is a must visit.

N is for New Forest. It's clear to see why this part of our county has made this list!

O is for Osborne. One of Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday spots on the Isle of Wight.

P is for Portsmouth. The first of our cities to feature on this list and home to the stunning Spinnaker Tower.

Q is for Queen Elizabeth Country Park. Perhaps the perfect place for a family day out.

R is for Racing. Thruxton Circuit is the UK’s fastest race circuit.

S is for Southampton. There’s plenty on offer in the city and it’s well and truly on the map due to Saints’ Premier League status.

T is for Test. The picturesque river that flows through our county.

U is for University. Three top universities are based here in Hampshire.

V is for Villages. There are some stunning little villages in our county.

W is for Winchester. You’ll find a nice cathedral here.

X is for… Erm. We’re a bit stuck here. Here’s a lovely picture of our county whilst we think.
