Don’t miss out on Keswick if you’re heading towards Derwentwater to take some photos.
Keswick is the usual base for those looking to explore nearby Derwentwater, but the pretty market town is an underrated source of good photos.
The Keswick is overlooked by Latrigg in the north and Catbells on the western side of Derwentwater, and they both provide an imposing background for shots taken from the town, they are also the perfect vantage point for great panoramic views of Keswick and the surrounding area. In addition, several woods lie in between the town and the lake.
