A Lancashire town has been named among the cheapest seaside locations for buyers in new Rightmove analysis.

The analysis reveals the latest trends by the coast including the cheapest and most expensive coastal locations for both buyers and renters plus the coastal buyer and renter search hotspots in the UK.

Blackpool was named among the cheapest seaside locations for buyers with an average asking price of £147,244.

Fleetwood also featured in the same list with an average asking price of £154,560 while it also made the cheapest seaside locations for renters list with an average asking price of rent (per calendar month) being £685.

The most viewed home by the coast on Rightmove is a Grade II listed country house in Devon with sea views and you can have a look at the pictures via the Rightmove website.

Of the newly released data, Rightmove’s property expert Tim Bannister said: “The significant increase in interest for coastal areas during the pandemic continues to influence many buyer and renter choices for where to live today, particularly with flexible working further away from traditional cities now more of an option for many people.”
