The public will be given a glimpse at a garden usually kept secret.
Fullers Mill Garden in West Stow will open its gates on Sunday, October 4, as part of the National Garden Scheme.
Created over more than 50 years by the late Bernard Tickner MBE, the seven-acre garden has been transformed from rough scrub and woodland into a tranquil waterside oasis.
In 2013, Mr Tickner gifted the garden to Perennial, a UK charity supporting people working in horticulture and their families.

This year’s opening will help raise funds for the charity through refreshments.
Entry costs £10 for adults and £4 for children.
The garden will be open from 11am to 5pm.
Fullers Mill is known for its dappled woodland and a plantsman’s collection of shrubs, perennials, lilies and marginal plants to create a year-round garden.
Views of its displays of form and colour reflect off the mill pond, the River Lark and Culford Stream.
The garden has also featured on BBC Gardeners’ World.
