The annual ladies’ lunch in aid of Lee’s Smile was held at Wetherby Golf Club.

150 ladies were greeted on arrival to a welcome drink courtesy of Harrogate's award-winning Slingsby with gooseberry gin the flavour of the beautifully sunny day.

Speaker was Amanda Owen, the Yorkshire Shepherdess who filled the room with her stories of life on the farm while bringing up nine children.

The event was supported by Clarins BeautyBAR, John Lewis Leeds who donated goodie bags. The lunch raised £3600 for the charity which was set up in memory of Lee Johnson by his family; mum Vicky, dad Simon and sister Becky following his sudden death from epilepsy. Funds raised will go towards vital research in to epilepsy.
