Conference date announced with early bird tickets now on sale

Early bird tickets are now on sale for this year’s Growing Gloucestershire Conference, which will take place on 20 June 2018 at The Growth Hub and University of Gloucestershire’s Oxstalls Campus in Gloucester.

Now in its 16th year, this innovative and inspiring conferences sees around 200 business people come along to learn from some of Gloucestershire’s finest speakers. to share best practice and to meet with other delegates including business owners and managers.

This year the conference will look at ‘The Fourth Industrial Revolution’; what it is, how it might affect your business and importantly the opportunities it will present.

Speaking of the revolution, Growing Gloucestershire Conference Chair, Jonathan Nicholls FCMA, shares his excitement about the rapid range of changes coming to the lives of us all and how we can benefit.

“We are on the cusp of changes that will radically transform every aspect our lives and workplaces with white collar professional roles being particularly affected. This revolution will happen much faster than previously because of the speed of modern life and communication.”

The 4th Industrial Revolution includes big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence, the cloud and autonomous vehicles. But far greater is the integration of these technologies in ways that are only just becoming apparent. Did you know that computers have taught themselves to “read” medical scans better than humans? And we have absolutely no idea how they are doing it?

This conference is about building awareness and equipping ourselves to thrive in a very different world. It will include a range of informative seminars and keynote speeches and provide opportunities for networking whilst learning.

The conference in 2018 is being organised by CIMA, CIPD, CMI and the FSB – part of Gloucestershire Professionals.

Any organisations wishing to sponsor or take a stand at the event should get in touch.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.glosprofs.com with a £10 discount on bookings before April 20 2018.
