A team of renowned addiction therapy experts have launched The Hygrove a new provider that is looking to transform the way drug and alcohol treatment is delivered

Their first property Hygrove House a new, exclusive sanctuary where members can recover from drug and alcohol addictions in peace and luxury in the heart of Gloucestershire, opens its doors on May 7.

Following the completion of a multi-million-pound refurbishment of the historic Georgian mansion Hygrove House, it has been transformed into a 31 bedroom luxury treatment centre that will provide members with a combination of unparalleled clinical expertise, emotional therapies and access to a variety of outdoor leisure pursuits, all set in 45 acres of beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.

“We are redefining the way addiction therapy is delivered. All of our members will benefit from a first-class bespoke treatment program that will be delivered in the ultimate environment to reconnect and rebalance,” said Steve Jones, Managing Director at Hygrove House. “Alongside the essential clinical and psychological therapies we will also be providing wellbeing therapies including massage, yoga, mindfulness, reiki, reflexology and aromatherapy. Members will also be encouraged to take part in the outdoor pursuits that are available in the grounds and in the Forest of Dean, Gloucester and the Cotswolds as part of our holistic mind, body and soul treatment approach.”

Alongside the member’s treatment plan, Hygrove House will be focussing on the families of the addict providing them with counselling, support and advice; a crucial element of addiction that can often be neglected.

“Our holistic programme, structured with “the Five Ways to Wellbeing in mind”, combining intensive therapies with outdoor pursuits, connection with nature, creative expression and with a focus on family care, are the key elements that set us apart from other treatment centres,” said Stuart Croft, Registered Manager of Hygrove House. “The family of the person who is mis-using a substance have often been through a challenging time and by supporting them and helping them to re-connect with their loved one whilst providing them with the emotional tools they require will enable lasting life changes”.

As well as evidence-based therapy programmes, the ultimate recovery experience at Hygrove House also features a home or airport collection service, a full clinical assessment, in house concierge and lifestyle service (provided by Renaissance Lifestyle Services), a 24/7 dedicated team for each member, outside pursuits including fishing and clay pigeon shooting and luxury, exclusive accommodation.
