Burnley There are 3 Burnley Heritage Trails you can take, all of them include the Weaver’s Triangle Visitor Centre but you can choose to visit Queen Mill Textile Museum, Gawthorpe Hall or Towneley Hall. 1.5-3.5km

Anglezarke The Anglezarke Loop is a new challenging multi use route that follows bridleways, byways and short sections of public roads around the uplands of the West Pennine Moors. The Loop is designed for horse riders, mountain bikers and walkers. - 45km

Pendle Hill A full road tour around fringes of the area’s best known and unmistakable landmark, Pendle Hill. The route includes one of the most infamous climbs in cycling – the Nick O’Pendle. 24.5km

Preston Built to commemorate the 2012 Preston Guild, the Guild Wheel is 21 mile cycleway that encircles Preston and takes in popular landmarks such as Avenham Park and Brockholes Nature Reserve - 34km.

Garstang The Winmarleigh Round is a route on flat terrain that starts from the Market Cross and circumnavigates the area surrounding Winmarleigh Hall before heading back to Garstang. - 10km

Lancaster This easy ride takes you from the bustling heart of Lancaster to the open spaces of the Lune Valley. Fine river views naturally feature at many places along the way, with highlights being the historic village of Halton and the dramatic bend of the river at Crook O’Lune. - 20km

Gisburn Gisburn Forest is the largest in Lancashire, climbing above the Ribble Valley with fantastic views of the Forest of Bowland. This family cycle route takes in plenty of widlife and fauna and Rathmell Horse Farm and Stocks Reservoir & Fishery are both nearby. - 9km

Foulridge This route follows the canal towpath from Foulridge and is part of the Pennine Cycleway. You can also take a worthwhile detour to Pendle Heritage Centre in Barrowford - 10km.

Clitheroe The Great Harwood Loop is a cycling route which connects Blackburn with Clitheroe. It highlights the many historical places of interest along the way including Whalley Viaduct and Mitton Hall. - 20km

Arnside A challenging route from Arnside to Kirkby Lonsdale that includes Dalton Crags, Hutton Roof and Farleton Fell taking views of Lancaster Canal and the Howgills. 41km
