Eight award-winning North West writers come together with some of the most inspirational directing and acting talent in the region for a thrilling event. Bridging The Gap – Eight New Short Plays features World Premieres on that theme from leading writers.

A carefully-curated celebration of North West talent, World Premieres, and your chance to help shape the future all in the same great event, taking place from Thursday 24th September-Saturday 26th September in Halle St. Peter’s, where Kenneth Branagh’s Macbeth wowed the world as part of the Manchester International Festival.

Writers are Jim Cartwright, Chris Hoyle, Charlotte Keatley, Ian Kershaw, Sarah McDonald Hughes, Ian Puleston-Davies, Punam Ramchurn and Simon Stephens - whose world-famous hits include The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Nighttime, Two, and My Mother Said I Never Should.

Julie Hesmondhalgh leads a stellar cast of North West actors with acclaimed directors Joyce Branagh, David Fleeshman, Justine Potter, Martha Simon, Stefan Escreet, Liz Stephenson and Anthony Banks
