Our photography competition puts talented Lancashire Life readers in the frame

There’s nothing quite like a Lancashire or Lakeland summer, as the rain slants down from slate grey skies. But wonderful photographs are constantly being added to our website, whatever the weather.

The pictures on these pages are among the photos uploaded to our website by readers this month.

And it’s not too late to add your best photographs to the growing gallery of scenes from all over the county – they could win you terrific prizes.

The competition is sponsored by Wilkinson’s Cameras and they have selected three superb pieces of equipment as prizes.

The judging panel will led by Lancashire Life picture editor John Cocks, photographer Kirsty Thompson and deputy editor Paul Mackenzie, and the winners will receive a New Canon EOS 600D and EF-S 18-55 IS lens worth 750, a Canon Powershot S95 worth 300, and a new Canon Powershot SX220 HS worth 250.
