More than 400 guests at the Ilkley Candlelighters annual ball at Rudding Park, Harrogate, raised £35,000 to help fight children’s cancer in Yorkshire.
The Strictly Come Dancing-themed evening began with a champagne reception followed by a three-course dinner. Prof Sally Kinsey talked about the work Candlelighters do to help the Paediatric Oncology Unit at Leeds General Infirmary. Next year’s ball is on May 10th.
