Parents, staff and friends of Belmont Grosvenor School in Harrogate came together at their summer ball to raise money for the Parent Teachers Association and the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.
The school adopted the heart surgery charity after drama teacher Catherine Fearn’s nephew Jack Hartley needed open heart surgery when he was just weeks old.
His mother Rebecca Hartley thanked guests at the ball for their support in helping Jack and others needing treatment at the Yorkshire Heart Centre at Leeds General Infirmary.
