Her reputation in the north and beyond (her work can be seen adorning some of the world’s best loved celebrities from Kate Moss, Chloe Grace Moretz and Ed Sheeran) precedes her, and with a brand new store about to open its doors in Windermere her beautiful, inviting boutiques are now popping up all over the country. But just what is it about Daniella’s jewellery that’s got everyone talking?
How it all began…
Born in Lincolnshire, after a stint in London at the prestigious St Martin’s Art School, she returned home in 2009 to start her business in partnership with her mum Della, who’d worked in the fashion industry herself for 25 years. Her focus and dedication to her designs and distinctive pieces- in particular her signature bangles- saw her grow from a one-shop studio business to having 3 expansive boutiques in Lincoln, Beverley and Cleethorpes. Her web shop ships all over the UK and internationally and now with the opening in Windermere, it seems her exquisite silver, gold and precious gem creations are in growing demand.
But while all her boutiques have a special place in her heart, Daniella’s latest venture is one she’s especially excited to launch, because Windermere was the backdrop to her cherished school years. Studying at Windermere St Anne’s school, Daniella also spent many a happy family time in the Lakes. She has always found the beauty and the rugged mountainous skyline in Windermere inspiring, calming and nourishing and this has filtered through in her whimsical designs, so often inspired by nature and the spiritual.
A new boutique in Windermere!
Now, less than 10 years since graduating, Daniella’s brand new Windermere boutique is being primped and preened to perfection ahead of its opening. The just-painted serene white space is soon to play host to a signature antique display cabinet, once housed at Chatsworth House. Daniella’s has also designed an exclusive Acorn charm in honour of the area to mark the occasion! And there’ll be fresh flowers, scented candles and of course her carefully chosen energy giving crystal on display – all a part of the truly unique and magical Daniella Draper experience.
And magical it is. Her unique designs are embellished with carefully chosen precious stones, charms, inscriptions- poems and sayings and can be personalised to be utterly bespoke and tailored to fulfil client’s wishes. Her ranges are thoughtfully designed- easy to wear every day, always, and work especially well in layers – from stacking rings to bracelets and necklaces. It’s no wonder her eye-catching jewellery has featured in countless fashion magazines and ‘must-have’ lists in weekend newspaper supplements.
