A dinner was hosted by John Lewis ahead of the opening of its newest store in York on Thursday April 10th. The event was held at The Star Inn the City, York, and was co-hosted by the newly appointed John Lewis branch manager Robert Garnish, director of selling Maggie Porteous and York council chief executive Kersten England.
Robert said: ‘I grew up in Yorkshire and am excited to announce the completion date of our multi-million pound investment in the area. We are looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors. We’ve been so grateful for the support from the community since we announced this project.’
