Leeds Cares unveiled its new vision for the city.

Leeds Cares – a charity supporting one of the biggest NHS Trusts in the country – unveiled its new vision to city leaders, healthcare specialists, business people and stakeholders at an exclusive gathering marking the 150th anniversary of Leeds General Infirmary.

Leeds City Council CEO Tom Riordan, Leeds Bid CEO Andrew Cooper, Lord Mayor of Leeds Councillor Jane Dowson and High Sheriff of West Yorkshire Richard Jackson were among more than 170 guests at the drinks reception at the hospital’s Gilbert Scott Building.

Leeds Cares, formerly Leeds Hospital Charitable Foundation, has undergone a major transformation to better support hundreds of thousands of patients and their families as they receive healthcare through Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
