It tool two and a half years of research tracking down former Leeds Girls High School pupils from the class of 1966 to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Jane Houghton and Janet Cooke with the help of Jane Bower, Kathie Bracewell, Lynsey Walford and others were able to find over 60 of the 78 girls who formed the senior school forms UII, UIIIP1 and UIIIP2. Of these, 40 attended a reunion at the Novotel in Leeds.
