Opera North’s 2014/15 season was launched at a reception held at Harewood House, near Leeds. General director Richard Mantle said it exemplifies the broad range of work which defines the company, and continues the bold, artistic programming which attracts audiences of all ages and tastes: ‘The programme features works from the last four centuries, balances the comic and the serious, and focuses on reinvigorating our core repertoire,’ he added.
