Celebrated chefs gathered for a Royal Academy of Culinary Arts fundraising dinner in aid of the Adopt a School Trust, at Gisborough Hall, Guisborough.

The RACA, whose members include Michelin star chefs and award-winning front of house staff, has been running the Adopt a School programme for 29 years with the long term aim of interesting young people in the hospitality industry.

Among the special guests were James Golding of The Pig restaurant, Dorset; Sara Jayne Stanes, chair of the Academy of Chocolate and a master chocolatier as well as John Williams, executive chef at The Ritz, London. All proceeds will support the North East Adopt a School programme to support the creation of a new generation of hospitality students, employees and employers.
