Most people will look towards a European city break when searching a quick getaway during the winter and spring months. However, Yorkshire is blessed in having two national parks within its boundaries, giving us plenty of viable options when looking for a luxury short break.

Studford Luxury Lodges is a small and exclusive site nestled in woodland between the popular locations of Helmsley and Ampleforth on the edge of the North York Moors.

The complex consists of 6 exclusive lodges situated in a small woodland that are spaced well apart for ultimate privacy and peace.

The uniquely designed luxury lodges are built on stilts that giver the appearance that you are getting a lot more than your average log cabin. They sleep up to six people in three double en-suite rooms, which can be converted into singles upon request.

This flexibility means that a stay at a lodge can be for a romantic weekend break or a short family holiday. The team at Studford can arrange for bushcraft activities for the kids that take place on-site or even massage and beauty therapist visits for large groups at your lodge. The lodge park is also dog-friendly and can even offer a dog-sitting service which means all the family can enjoy a holiday in the park.
